The BBQ Flavour Briquettes coconut are made from the coconut husks of sustainably harvested coconuts derived from the coconut palm, also called tree of life. There are several harvests of coconuts per year per coconut palm. The coconut is very popular for its milk, oil and pulp. By making briquettes from the coconut husks, the entire coconut is used and thus no waste takes place. With these coconut briquettes, you can therefore enjoy sustainable barbecuing. The briquettes will burn for a long time, without odors and are made of 100% natural material. The charcoal of these briquettes is carbonized before it is pressed. The coconut briquettes are pressed under high pressure with rice starch which gives the unique pillow structure. This pillow structure is ideal for low & slow barbecuing using the snake method. The Snake method allows you to maintain a constant low temperature for a longer period of time. The snake method works as follows: you make a pile of 2x2 unlit briquettes at the outer edge of your barbecue and place a few lit briquettes at the beginning which form the head of the snake. Along the first few inches of the snake, you can also add a little smoke wood for more flavor.
